I am a pediatric occupational therapist with over 8 years of experience. I have worked across Wisconsin and Minnesota in both private outpatient pediatric clinics, the school setting, and community-based settings. I have worked with children ranging in ages of 5 months old to 18 years old. In that time, I have found that I have a passion for helping kids find their strengths and ways to grow in areas that are challenging so that they can be a kid. I have a strong passion for relationship-based approaches to therapy with specific trainings in: Astronaut Training, Trauma-informed approaches, SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and more. I love to collaborate with other professionals as well to provide the most comprehensive, evidence-based, and collaborative approach to care.
I started with the idea of helping kids in the environment that they experience these difficulties as I noticed that in the clinic, many parents reported that their child was progressing in the clinic but was not noticing the same skills at home. Home is where the progress means the most, and thus this new adventure of providing services in their natural environment began. I provide 60-minute sessions where challenges are occurring - at home or in the community.
